Clares Chillies

Clare’s Chillies is a nursery growing a variety of chilli plants for sale and for harvesting to make sauces, jams & oils.

With 30+ years of learning and growing chillies at home and commercially, Clare’s joy at her 1st home grown chilli, back in 1988 under the Queensland sun, burns as bright today under the (sometimes) glorious West Sussex sun.

At the heart of Clare’s Chillies is her ethos, of a fun and as sustainable as possible journey, exploring, experimenting & sharing the chilli vibe.

Today, each nook & cranny of the home garden is filled with everything chilli and Clare’s now expanding gradually with the hope that soon the nursery will be open to the public.

For now, Clare hosts her popular Chilli Chats as private visits for between 2-5 people, with refreshments, plants to buy & some homemade chilli goodies to take away (5 rating from the Food Standards Agency). Contact Clare’s Chilies direct for more information.

Delivering flavour and, of course spiciness, for everyone’s tastes, plants in all 5 domesticated chilli species are available at various popups in Sussex and at selected Plant Fairs Roadshow events throughout 2022.
