We are a collective of specialist nurseries who organise and promote Plant Fairs in the South East.
We always offer a wide range of locally grown, garden worthy and often unusual plants. As expert growers and associated organisations we aim to create memorable gardening events at some of the best gardens and venues in our region. This is a great opportunity to buy direct from our friendly and approachable growers and get free advice from our resident Plant Doctor. Refreshments are available at most venues making for a great trip out.
All our events are COVID compliant and we work closely with venues to keep customers and stallholders safe. Recently we have introduced timed entry ticketing for many of our events to aid social distancing and allow our growers to advise customers more effectively. Please check if booking is required.
At our plant fairs we have a range of small, independent nurseries run by specialist growers who are passionate about the plants they produce. The nurseries provide a whole spectrum of plants including cottage-garden favourites, shade-loving plants, alpines, trees and shrubs, succulents and many more.
Our plant fairs provide an opportunity for you to get advice from these enthusiastic and knowledgeable nursery-owners and to discover some of the unusual and must-have plants they grow.
At Plant Fairs Roadshow we strive to find interesting venues, often with outstanding gardens and facilities to make the visit that much more enjoyable.
We programme our events to offer not only the wide range of excellent plants that you expect from our specialist growers, but the opportunity to relax in beautiful surroundings and usually in a café onsite.
I am Quentin Stark the Plant Doctor. I have been a plantsman and professional gardener since I left school. I have been head Gardener at Hole Park House and Gardens at Benenden for over 20 years
At the Plant Fairs I am able to answer your horticultural questions such as ‘what is wrong with my plant?’ or ‘what will grow well in my garden?’ I often help with plant identification and also advise on purchasing plants at the fair.
At the Plant Fairs Roadshow we can help you make the right plant choices suitable for you garden. I look forward to seeing you at the next fair, feel free to bring photos and live material to help with plant identification and their problems.
