Blueleaf Plants is a small, home-based nursery that specialises in the propagation of succulent plants to create gorgeous displays for both indoors and outdoors. Pastel coloured echeverias and graptopetalums, spiky leaved aloes, bold and beautiful aeoniums and sumptuous sedums spill from a wide range of stylish containers from tiny bonsai pots and delicate antique crockery and teapots to large galvanised industrial stock feeders and troughs. I love to recycle old and unusual objects to use as containers preferring terracotta, porcelain, wood and metal. Many of my containers are suitable for windowsills and are great for city gardeners without a lot of space but lots of sunshine, while larger pots look fantastic on a patio or on outside table-tops during the summer months.
I also specialise in making living frames to order in alphabet and heart shapes as well as more regular square and oblong shapes. The letter frames are great for weddings and christenings and I also sell small DIY kits so you can try your hand at ‘floral painting’!
Blueleaf Plants can also help you to create your own green roof: be it a flat roof extension that needs cheering up or a shed, garage or even a dog kennel roof to help give you a third dimension to your garden that also helps to benefit pollinating insects and other garden wildlife. I’ve undertaken commissions in London, Whitstable and Ashford and would be happy to discuss your ideas.
Please check my website for details of plant events attended throughout the year as well as my Etsy Shop where you can order and purchase my products. I don’t have a plant catalogue, but please email if you are looking for specific plants. The nursery is open by appointment to collect orders only – please call me before travelling.
