Pineview Plants

Pineview Plants is run by Colin & Cindy Moat and the nursery offers a wide range of perennial plants ranging from rare, new or unusual, to easy, interesting and reliable. These have been selected over many years and are all good garden plants ranging from named varieties, to plants of species raised from seed. The wide range primarily reflects plants that are of interest to us and that we believe to be of outstanding garden merit. These include mainly herbaceous perennials, with leaning towards shade loving plants, including many ferns, and a wide range (over 100 varieties) of Epimediums. Also wide selection of Thalictrum, Actaea, Sanguisorba, Anemone nemerosa, Eranthis and Persicaria.

We are a ‘working’ nursery, but if you are looking to source, or view a selection of plants, then please contact us to arrange an appointment, we are open ONLY by appointment. We attend a large number of Plant Fairs around the South East of England, and we are more than happy to bring orders to these events should you wish. We also offer a mail order service, primarily by you sending an email with a ‘wish list’, deliveries in the local area, also an option. We are also happy to offer suggestions for planting for specific areas. More details on all the above on our website.

We were pleased to have been awarded an RHS Silver medal at the 2015 and 2017 RHS London Spring Show, and in 2018 Colin chaired the RHS Roundtable on Epimedium, for Awards of Garden Merit (AGM) and is delighted to be an assessor for the 2018 RHS Sanguisorba Trials, and the 2019 Persicaria Trials.
