Spring Platt Snowdrops

All nurseries

Welcome to Kentsnowdrops.com. My name is Carolyn, my daughter Julie, and I started collecting snowdrops in 2003 when we went to a Cottage Garden Society’s Snowdrop Group Day in Daglingworth Gloucestershire and we bought a few pots of flowering bulbs, which included Atkinsii, Reginae Olgae, Sybil Roberta and Blewbury Tart.

Every year since then we have added to the collection and now have over 400 different varieties of snowdrop. Four and a half years ago, we began chipping some of them in order to bulk up the collection more quickly ie instead of 1 or 2 of one variety we will hopefully in three years have a pot of about 15 – 20. This has been fairly successful and our chips are now flowering.

The garden is open early each year to show off the snowdrops, please take a look around the website, you can find all our latest information, see when we are taking group bookings or open for charity, view a gallery of some of the huge number of snowdrop varieties we have, find out more about the garden layout and design at Spring Platt, something that is constantly being worked on and developed and finally see how to get in contact us or get directions.
