Cottage Garden Plants

We grow a number of plants that have become out of fashion or difficult to find as well as a lot of old cottage garden favourites.   In the spring the selection is more of shade loving plants e.g Corydalis, Digitalis, Epimediums, Primulas and then by summer there are the sun lovers with Hemerocallis, Iris, Dieramas, Geraniums, Penstemons, Sisyrinchiums, Stachys and Verbascums.   We also have a good selection of plants that like sun or part shade, so the best of both worlds.

Our specialities are Hemerocallis and Dieramas with a number of other plants that we have a good selection of.   These include Corydalis, Epimediums, Geraniums, Iris bearded and sibirica, Penstemons and a few Kniphofia and Thalictrums.

All of our plants are grown by us in a peat free compost as we believe that they transfer better to different surroundings and get the best start in life in a new garden.   We believe all of our plants to be hardy everywhere in the UK.
