Chailey Iris Garden is a family run internet based nursery specialising in bearded iris, also known as Iris Germanica, or German iris, as well as Siberica, Ensata, Louisiana and Species Iris.
Although we don’t have a traditional nursery to visit we do open the Show Gardens and extensive gardens around the house for the Bevern Trust Charity and for the National Garden Scheme. You’ll find the dates on the ‘News’ tab of our website.We have an extensive selection of high-quality iris plants grown in Sussex in the UK, with some of the best re-blooming and scented irises in the world that we have collected on our travels. We continue to search for new and exciting varieties that are suited to the UK climate.We sell our irises by mail-order throughout the UK. Plants are shipped as bare root rhizomes in September.
